As part of the project for the management and security of Kosovo’s existing dams, the #FLOWS program team together with the Italian implementing team, Studio Pietrangeli, visited the Ujman dam today together with the multi-ethnic staff of Ibër-Lepenc, the operator of the Ujman dam and the Pridvorica regulating dam. This visit is in the continuation of the training of dam operators on dam safety monitoring.
It was a pleasure that the Ibër-Lepenc team showed some experience in regular monitoring of the dam. The training in this case turned into an exchange of experience and the need to complete the automated monitoring system and draft a guide for monitoring procedures, as well as the establishment of an alarm (early warning) system, a subsequent project of the FLOWS program.
